Fantasy American Idol: The Rules

Eligibility:
Anyone can play, as long as they pay their $5 entry fee to Nate or Allie before the round of the final 12* (now 13) begins.

Scoring:
Once this season's 12* (now 13) American Idol finalists are announced (March 5), you should submit to Nate or Allie which 4 (four) contestants you think will advance farthest in the competition.

Once you have selected your four singers, you will score points for each round the player advances. For instance, you would earn 5 (five) points for each contestant that moves to the final 8.

Below is a table showing how many points you will earn for advancing to the following rounds:

Round of 11 - 2 points
Round of 10 - 3 points
Round of 9 - 4 points
Round of 8 - 5 points
Round of 7 -6 points
Round of 6 - 8 points
Round of 5 - 10 points
Round of 4 - 12 points
Round of 3 - 15 points
Finalist - 20 points
Winner - 30 points

Winning:
The entry with the most total points will be the winner. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. In the event of a tie, prizes will split among tied entries.

Prizes:
Amount of prizes will be determined by number of entries. Winner is slated to take 60 percent of the pot, second place would get 30 percent and third place will get 10 percent.
